The Ulijn lab is located situated on the ground floor of CUNY ASRC and is specifically designed and equipped for chemical and materials synthesis and analysis of soft materials. Notable instruments installed include a microwave-assisted peptide synthesizer, one preparative and two analytical HPLC's, high resolution mass spectrometer, water-cooled and dry ice-cooled rotary evaporators, UV-Vis spectrometer, fluorescence spectrophotometer, FTIR with step scan, DLS for particle size and zeta potential measurement, multi-mode plate reader equipped with emission anisotropy and time resolved emission measurements, centrifugal and stand-alone lyophilizer, and a rheometer suitable for analyzing a range of materials.
